I GOT IN!!!!
I just got an e-mail from Dr. Konrad Walus of the Electrical Engineering department here at UBC telling me that he just signed off on my application for a Masters of Applied Science. I’m gonna be working on a pretty wicked project, and I get to manage a computing cluster.
Needless to say, I’m excited. 
So… I decided to install phpBB on here, just for the heck of it and get a simple forum up and running. It’s not much, but if you ever want to find a place to ask a question or chat or something, just sign up for an account and post away.
So… my photo gallery got messed up recently due to a change in the file system at DreamHost… things are back up and running now, but it’s just a pain in the ass to have to sort it out again.
On the bright side, things are a little better organized now, and I have some incentive to learn how the Gallery theming system works, so I can make it a little bit more… mine.
Keep an eye out there. I’ll be trying to post up more pictures as time goes on.
So – it’s been a good long while since I wrote anything here. Life has kept me quite busy lately, but things are good.
It’s Engineering Week right now at UBC, so things are definitely crazy. Skulk Night was a lot of fun (some pictures to come later), and other events have been great. We’ve still got the Four-legged race, dodgeball, and FilmfEUSt to go, all of which I believe my department, Fizz, can win. We’ve got a really really funny video for FilmfEUSt, and I’ll post it up here when it’s done and judged.
So… to answer your question – no, I’m not dead.
